The NAACP is working to identify and understand key health indicators in our communities nationwide, and has partnered with Sanofi to collect information via the ACE Your Health Community Wellness Survey.
The ACE Your Health Community Wellness Survey seeks to help us understand the resources available in communities that help people live their healthiest lives. We want to identify strengths and gaps in areas such as access to healthy food, quality healthcare, housing, transportation, and green spaces.
Survey categories include:
- Neighborhood resources and assets
- Neighborhood quality and affordability
- Health and health care
- Demographics
With a goal of collecting 12,000+ responses, the survey data and insights will play a vital role in advancing health equity by guiding the development of targeted interventions, advocacy for resources, and policies to improve health and well-being in our communities. Ultimately, it will help us address disparities and advocate for solutions that build stronger, healthier, and more equitable communities.
