On Tuesday, March 4 the Middletown NAACP will join the New York State NAACP Conference and our colleagues from across the state at a lobby day in Albany. We will meet with our local elected officials to present and advocate for the NAACP’s priorities in the 2025 legislative session.
All participants will receive training ahead of time, so you will know how to speak about the NAACP’s priorities and which issues are most relevant to your elected leaders.
Lobbying begins at noon in Albany. Vehicles should aim to leave Orange County around 9:30 to arrive on time. We do plan to carpool, so if you are interested please sign up here!
