NAACP Middletown Branch Inaugural Youth Cookout Celebration
Middletown, NY – July 4, 2024 – The Middletown Chapter of the NAACP is excited to bring our community a free event to invite all to learn more about our revitalized chapter and its plans to increase youth engagement in alignment with our branch’s mission as we prepare for the upcoming year.
From 1pm-5pm on July 28, 2024 in Circleville Park we are extending an open invitation to meet local NAACP members. This will be an informal opportunity to hear live music/entertainment, engage in family friendly fun, and celebrate summer with a barbecue and pot luck style dishes. This is a free community event. RSVP is encouraged.
Additionally, there will be a chance to become a member of our local chapter, register to vote, and learn more about what the needs & hopes of the community are, especially our youth, in the local area.
We look forward to this kickoff event in service to our community.
